റൂമി മൊഴിമാറ്റം

നിനവിലും നീ കണ്ടി-

ല്ലെത്രമേൽ ഞാൻ തിര-

ഞ്ഞൊരു തോഷികം

നിനക്കേകുവാനായ്

എന്തു ഞാൻ ചൊല്ലേണ്ടൂ!!

അവയൊന്നുമെന്നാത്മ-

തുഷ്ടിക്കുചിതമായ്

തോന്നിയില്ല.

 

സ്വർണ്ണഖനിക്കെന്തു

സൗവർണ്ണസമ്മാനം!!

സമുദ്രത്തിനായ് കൈ-

ക്കുടന്ന ജലം?!!

 

എന്തു തന്നെയാകി-

ലുമവ പൂർവ്വർക്കു

സുഗന്ധദ്രവ്യം പ്രദാ-

നിക്കും പോലെ

 

എൻ ഹൃത്തുമാത്മാവു-

മേകാമെന്നാകിലോ

നീയവയ്ക്കെന്നേ

ചക്രവർത്തിനി

ഒടുവിൽ ഞാൻ കൊണ്ടുവ-

ന്നൊരു മുകുരം, ആയതിൽ

നീ നിന്നെ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ

ഓർക്കുകെന്നെ.
